Make a Difference!

The Department of Family and Community Medicine is supported by funds from private philanthropy and government and institutional grants. While every source of funding is important, private philanthropic support is especially vital to the success of the department.  The generosity of alumni, patients, and friends will enable us to attract new physicians and educators, initiate a number of research projects, and develop new educational programs.

Extraordinary accomplishments require extraordinary investments. We invite your philanthropic partnership in helping us achieve our research and teaching aspirations each day. Your commitment could help us advance a promising research study; recruit a talented physician-scientist; or develop new educational programs.

The Department of Family Medicine has many ways for you to make a difference. Your generous contributions are most appreciated and will greatly enhance and benefit the department now and in perpetuity. Each gift makes a difference!

Ways to Give

Simplicity makes gifts of cash or checks the most popular type of charitable gift. A gift of cash is considered made on the date it is hand-delivered or mailed, and it is deductible in the year in which it is given. Checks should be made payable to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Please indicate "Department of Family and Community Medicine" in the memo field of the check. Gifts should be mailed to:
