Education and Training
Faculty in the Department of Family and Community Medicine embrace the Feinberg School of Medicine’s dynamic academic mission and are actively involved in medical student and resident education. In addition to teaching preclinical courses at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Department faculty members organize and supervise third- and fourth-year clerkships for medical students.
Our Family Medicine Residency Program is sponsored by McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in partnership with the Norwegian American Hospital, Erie Family Health Center, and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Drawing on the abundant strengths of each institution, this new program is exciting, innovative and progressive while maintaining sensitivity to the community it serves. This partnership of community and university combines experience with educational resources which form the basis for an excellent training experience for our residents.
The residency program is located in Erie Family Health Center - Humboldt Park in Chicago, IL. For more information, please contact the program director at (312) 432-4556.
