From the west or from O'Hare Airport
To exit the airport, follow the signs that read, "Exit to City." You will enter Interstate 90 East (the Kennedy Expressway). Follow Interstate 90 East for approximately 25 miles (this will take 30-60 minutes depending on the traffic). When you reach the North Avenue exit, move into the right lane and prepare to exit at Ohio Street (this is two exits after North Avenue).
The Ohio Street exit is a one way exit that turns into Ohio Street going east. Follow Ohio Street to Fairbanks Court (12 traffic lights). Turn left onto Fairbanks Court. You are now entering Northwestern University's Chicago Campus. You may use the map of the Chicago campus to locate parking and Abbott Hall.
From Midway Airport
To exit the airport, follow the signs that read, "Cicero Avenue." Go north on Cicero to Interstate 55 East/North (this is also known as the Stevenson Expressway). Follow Interstate 55 East/North for approximately 10 miles (this will take 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic). Exit onto Lake Shore Drive north. Follow Lake Shore Drive for about 4 miles. Exit on Chicago Avenue (you can only go west). Proceed one block to Fairbanks Court. Turn left onto Fairbanks Court.

From the north
Take Interstate 90/94 and follow the signs that say Interstate 90/94 east to Indiana. When you reach the North Avenue exit, move into the right lane and prepare to exit at Ohio Street (this is two exits after North Avenue).

From Indiana
Take Interstate 80, 90, or 94. Follow the signs that say Interstate 90/94 west to Wisconsin. Exit onto Congress Parkway/Expressway. Follow this road until it ends at Columbus Drive. Turn left onto Columbus Drive (Columbus Drive will turn into Fairbanks Court).
